It Was Hot and the Bros Had Us Hoppin’ at McCormick and Schmick’s

It was hot and it was hoppin’ as McCormick and Schmick’s recognized National Dance Day July 30  w/The Blues Brother Review and free dance lessons by the Dance Tonight staff (and M&S will be hosting dance lessons on a weekly basis through August!).

The Side Bar was packed with cold beer (at a decent price, too)  and the adjoining room was packed out with revelers enjoying the Blues Brother’s Revue and a guest appearance by “Elvis” (back from the dead)!  Even Dan, McCormick and Schmick’s General Manager, took the dance floor and was tripping the light fantastic. Although lacking a full band, the boys brought a rocking guitarist (and background vocalist) with them to round out the well produced show.

The Bros began “Nothing but A Hound Dog,” and that drew Elvis out of the crowd and into the mix.

The show was accentuated by the BluesMobile parked outside, and was well done from beginning to end.  It looks like M&S has a busy schedule of events for August; we’ll try to keep you updated, so check our events listings often!
