Sunday at the Meyer scores a hit with the Rod Stewart Tribute “Hot Legs”

One of the better tribute bands to hit West Palm’s Sunday at the Meyer enjoyed a enthusiastic crowd of Rod Stewart fans for this month’s Sunday at the Meyer.  The lead singer — Rick St James — and his Forever Young band were up to the task of reproducing all the hits that Stewart is renowned for… and if you didn’t know you were watching a tribute, you would think that Stewart (albeit a bit younger incarnation) was there in person.  The lead guitar was solid, accented by scorching leads, the drumming was stellar (and the DW kit with all brass hardware, gorgeous), and bass and keys were dead on too.

Even if you aren’t a fan of tribute band shows, you’d probably find this show the exception… the City of West Palm scored a home run with this musical selection in DOwntown West Palm Beach…
